Reflection Man
Rosemary and petitgrain open with an aromatic crispness, then the heart does something unexpected: jasmine and neroli alongside orris root and ylang-ylang, florals that on paper should read feminine but on skin read as quietly architectural. Lucas Sieuzac built this on sandalwood and vetiver, so the base is dry and slightly resinous, with patchouli providing a faint earthiness that stops it from becoming too abstract.
Why We Carry This
Reflection Man is the Amouage that converted the most skeptics in the early 2000s niche fragrance scene, a house known for heavy orientals releasing something this clean and structurally precise. It holds its ground against much newer white-floral-on-wood compositions and costs less than most of its direct competition.
