The cedar and iris heart is more formal than the maritime opening implies, jasmine rounding the composition into something that reads as coastal elegance rather than sea-spray freshness. Ambergris in the base is what holds the marine quality through the drydown, its warm oceanic depth preventing the composition from going clean-synthetic as lesser aquatics tend to do past the top.
