Rouge Smoking Extrait is the 2024 intensification of the original Rouge Smoking, and the Extrait adds Peru balsam, milk, and oud to a base that was already warm and resinous. Cherry, almond, and red mandarin open with a fruit-nut warmth before Spanish labdanum arrives in the heart with its characteristic resinous darkness. Oud and rum in the base give the composition a depth that the EDP version does not reach, vanilla absolute and patchouli holding the sweet-dark materials in a rich, lasting drydown. Why We Carry This

The Extrait format of Rouge Smoking adds oud and Peru balsam to a base that the original EDP kept in the sweet-tobacco register. The result is a genuinely different fragrance: darker, more resinous, and more complex than the EDP while retaining the cherry-almond character that made the original distinctive.
