Oud Sapphire opens with ambrette and saffron doing something unexpected: soft and almost powdery, not the usual blunt incense entry. Then leather and oud move in, and osmanthus threads through with a faint stone-fruit note that keeps the leather from going dark. The base is orris and sandalwood pulling everything into a cool, bone-dry finish.

Why We Carry This

Most oud fragrances announce themselves before you've even opened the bottle. This one is more considered. The ambrette and osmanthus give it a restraint that makes the oud feel genuinely precious rather than loud.
