My New York
Ginger and elemi at the top are resinous and sharp, pink pepper threading heat through the opening before rose takes the center. The rose here is not delicate: papyrus gives it a dry, almost smoky quality that grounds it in the heart. Cashmeran and patchouli in the base produce a warm, diffuse finish that sandalwood slowly clarifies over the long drydown.
Why We Carry This
Bond No. 9's New York-mapped catalog spans an enormous range of styles, and My New York is among Michel Almairac's most technically considered contributions to it. The ginger-elemi opening into a papyrus-rose heart is a sequence worth exploring.
