Dubai Garnet
Blackberry, seaweed, and pink pepper make for an odd opening, bright and tart with a mineral saltiness underneath, and it shouldn't work as well as it does going into the rose-and-cumin heart. Cumin is the pivot: warm, faintly animalic, stopping the rose from going decorative. Vetiver, oakmoss, and myrrh close it out with a slightly chypric drydown that reads richer than expected for something that started with blackberries.
Why We Carry This
The seaweed-to-cumin-to-oakmoss structure is genuinely eccentric for a floral oriental, which is precisely why it caught our attention. Dubai Garnet doesn't follow the obvious path, and that's what makes it worth carrying next to Ruby.
