Rococo Magnolia
VIII Rococo Magnolia takes the magnolia note and refuses to make it polite: bergamot and lemon open cleanly enough, but when the magnolia arrives in the heart it carries the full creamy, lemony, slightly exotic character of the flower rather than a synthetic approximation. Rose and jasmine build the floral density, ylang-ylang adding a tropical warmth that the Rococo naming suggests: abundant, decorative, unapologetically opulent. Sandalwood and benzoin close with a warm creaminess that suits the opening's excess. A fragrance for rooms with high ceilings.
Why We Carry This
VIII Rococo Magnolia uses magnolia in the way the flower deserves: as the composition's primary argument rather than a supporting floral. The ylang-ylang amplifies the magnolia's tropical warmth, and the benzoin base gives the whole composition a golden finish that earns the Rococo designation.
