Aventus For Her avoids the trap of being a direct feminine transposition of the masculine benchmark. The green apple and patchouli opening is closer to a chypre structure than anything in the Aventus masculine line, and the styrax-sandalwood base gives it a resinous depth that the floral heart earns. Aventus For Her opens with green apple and bergamot, pink pepper adding a sharpness that distinguishes the opening from the house's women's range without reaching toward the smoky pineapple character of the masculine Aventus. Violet and rose thread through the heart with a floral warmth that sandalwood and styrax keep rooted in something more complex than simple femininity. Peach and amber in the base soften the close, lilac adding a powdery quality that Olivier Polge uses to give the drydown its distinctive quietness. This is Creed's answer to the question the original Aventus always prompted.
