Pierre Bourdon and Olivier Creed created something durable here: a citrus-green construction that has not aged in thirty years. The blackcurrant-green tea accord remains one of the more original combinations in the house's catalog.

Bergamot and mandarin open cleanly, then blackcurrant arrives and shifts the whole register slightly darker. Green tea in the heart is the structural note: it holds the citrus and the fruit together without letting either pull away. Galbanum and petitgrain in the base add a green, slightly bitter finish that sandalwood and musk eventually soften into something that lingers quietly for a long time.
