Ninety-eight percent dark chocolate is not a marketing number you see often in perfume, and Darkness Bites wears it honestly. It opens bitter before sweet, cocoa solids and raw oud sitting right next to each other with no citrus or fruit to cushion the landing. Patchouli and vanilla move in slowly, rounding the edges without erasing the bitterness.
