Shabby Chic
Shabby Chic opens with peach and lemon, and the fruit note here has the quality of something left on a windowsill in the sun: warm and slightly concentrated rather than fresh-picked. Rose and jasmine build through the heart in the casual way that a terracotta pot arrangement flowers, unhurriedly and without announcement. Patchouli and cedar in the base give the composition an earthiness that the vintage naming suggests, and vanilla and amber close with a warmth that smells more of old fabric and sunlight than any specific material. Comfortable without apology.
Why We Carry This
The patchouli-cedar base in Shabby Chic gives the peach-rose opening a genuine depth that prevents it from reading as a simple fruit-floral. The vanilla warmth in the drydown is well-proportioned, and the overall composition has the relaxed quality of the Tuscan aesthetic done with knowledge rather than imitation.
