Light Breeze
Verbena and lemon in the opening of Light Breeze have a specificity that bergamot and mandarin support: the freshness is bright and herb-forward rather than generic. Lavender and juniper give the heart an aromatic quality that nutmeg and cardamom warm, the spice arriving quietly underneath. Ambroxan in the base is the modern material that gives the whole composition its lift and skin proximity, sandalwood and moss giving the clean freshness a warmth and ground that prevents it from dissipating.
Why We Carry This
Light Breeze is House of Dastan's answer to the aromatic fresh category, and Herpin's use of ambroxan as the base driver rather than a finishing note is what gives it staying power that most clean freshies sacrifice. The verbena-lavender-cardamom progression is classically structured, and the moss base ensures the lightness is substantive rather than fleeting.
