Christophe Raynaud rebuilds the original formula around a lavender that behaves nothing like lavender usually does. Saffron presses in behind it, warmer and more resinous than the 2018 version, and fir balsam in the base gives the whole composition an unexpected green depth. The oud is quieter here, present as texture rather than declaration, which turns out to be the smarter choice.

The Neo revision is not a flanker grab. Raynaud genuinely rethought the aromatic framework, and the saffron-lavender-fir structure that emerged is more wearable and, frankly, more interesting than what it replaced.
