Paragon
Sage and lavender with bergamot is a familiar enough opening, but plum in the heart changes the reading entirely, adding a dark, slightly fermented quality to the palo santo that transforms the aromatic into something genuinely complex. Palo santo itself is not a common heart note, its resinous, slightly medicinal character sitting between incense and wood, and it carries the transition from the fresh opening to the oud-and-sandalwood base with unusual conviction. Paragon is a fragrance built around that middle, and it holds.
Why We Carry This
Most aromatic-woody fragrances treat the base as the destination. Paragon treats the heart as the point. The palo santo-plum accord is distinctive enough that we'd carry this for that note combination alone.
