Not A Perfume
Scent Profile
Base notes: Ambroxan (Cetalox)
Why We Carry This
We keep it around because it does something almost no other bottle on our shelf does: a single molecule, no blending, and it still works.
Character
Accords: Amber, Musky, Clean, Warm Spicy, Woody
Perfumer: Romano Ricci
There's exactly one listed ingredient here: cetalox, a synthetic ambroxan molecule that reads as warm, faintly animalic skin rather than a recognizable note. Juliette Has a Gun built the entire fragrance around the idea that most people, especially those with allergies or sensitivities to natural perfume materials, still want to smell like something without wearing an actual composition.
It smells different on everyone because it interacts directly with individual skin chemistry rather than layering over it. That's the appeal and the limitation. If you want a clear opening, heart, and drydown to admire, this isn't it; it reads closer to a very good deodorant than a perfume.
