Lamar
Mark Buxton's signature is precision with materials that other perfumers use broadly, and in Lamar the dual rose sources are the example. Bulgarian and Turkish rose together in the heart have a fullness that neither alone achieves, magnolia and jasmine sambac giving them company without pulling focus. Pineapple and cardamom in the opening are warm and tropical, coriander giving the fruit a dry aromatic note. Cashmere wood in the base is the quality detail: smooth and skin-close, cedar and moss giving the vanilla warmth a slightly green, natural finish.
Why We Carry This
Lamar is Kajal's flagship and the fragrance that established the house internationally. Buxton's dual-rose construction in the heart is what makes it memorable rather than merely pleasant, and the cashmere wood base is the material choice that separates it from comparable fruit-floral orientals. We carry it as the definitive introduction to Kajal.
