Apple Brandy On The Rocks opens with a tartness that aldehydes sharpen into something slightly electric, the apple note reading as actual pressed fruit rather than candy. Bourbon, cognac, and rum in the heart are the central proposition: the fragrance is built to smell like the drink that gave it its name, and it does, with enough vanilla smoothing the alcohol edges to make the impression more sensory than literal. Cedar and sandalwood in the base give the finish a warm, barrel-aged quality that extends the spirit analogy into the drydown.
