Dark Florum
Tuberose and jasmine together in the opening of Dark Florum have the density of a full bouquet rather than a single note. Tuberose in particular, at its natural concentration, has a creamy-green quality that the jasmine amplifies. Rose enters in the heart, and behind all three florals, oud and incense build in the base with a smokiness that darkens the composition significantly from the mid-stage onward. Patchouli and sandalwood anchor the whole structure, the drydown becoming progressively more resinous as the floral opening fades into the dark base.
Why We Carry This
Dark Florum is the most interesting product in the Lorenzo Pazzaglia floral range precisely because it takes a conventional white floral opening and destabilizes it with oud and incense. The transition from the tuberose-jasmine heart to the smoky base is what makes this worth carrying alongside more predictable floral orientals.
