Why We Carry This
The absinthe-to-tobacco arc in Evil Angel is not a move you see often, and it works because the rum-whiskey heart provides a convincing bridge between the bitter-sweet opening and the dark resinous base. This is the kind of fragrance that requires commitment from the wearer.
Character
Accords: Oud, Leather, Smoky, Amber, Warm Spicy, Woody
Perfumer: Lorenzo Pazzaglia
Launched: 2022
Evil Angel opens with tropical fruit and absinthe, the wormwood-mint bitterness cutting through the sweetness before rum and whiskey arrive to reshape the accord entirely into something boozy and slightly reckless. Cinnamon adds spice heat to the mid-stage without softening it, and coconut appears as tropical warmth rather than creaminess. The tobacco and myrrh base give the drydown a dark, resinous character that sits in contrast to the festive opening, the cashmere wood and sandalwood making the finish feel more considered than the name advertises.
