Why We Carry This

Gasoleather is one of the few fragrances that names its most challenging element and then delivers it fully. The petrol-leather pairing is handled with enough material complexity, cypriol, nagarmotha, oud, to keep it from reading as a novelty. This is for the client who finds most leather fragrances insufficiently bold.

The gasoline and smoke opening is not metaphor. Gasoleather opens with an industrial note that is genuinely petrol-adjacent, the elemi and bergamot giving it a resinous-citrus brightness that stops the accord from reading purely as a chemical exercise. Leather arrives in the heart as the foundation material it is, cypriol and nagarmotha adding earthy depth, clary sage sharpening the composition's edge. The oud and pine base give the drydown a dark, resinous character that holds the gasoline accord in memory long after the top has faded.
