Van Exstasyx is a study in how many dimensions vanilla has when you use four varieties at once. Bourbon, Madagascar, Tahitian, and black vanilla husk each bring a different facet: the bourbon warm and creamy, the Madagascar clean and pure, the Tahitian almost floral, the black husk smoky and dark. White flowers in the heart lift the accord briefly before caramel and vanilla pod in the base take over with a richness that agarwood deepens into something genuinely complex. Not a sweet fragrance.
