Why We Carry This

The Forte concentration answers the one limitation of the original: it lasts. White tea and cashmere wood give the structure an unusual density for a composition this clean. We stocked it alongside the standard Aqua Universalis for clients who want the same statement made more firmly.

Forte takes the transparency that defined the original Aqua Universalis and compresses it: the same white-linen clarity, but with more projection and a longer arc. White tea in the opening gives the bergamot-mandarin a slightly astringent quality that keeps the brightness from turning saccharine. Lily of the valley moves through the heart without announcing itself, the white flowers functioning as a kind of luminous haze. Cashmere wood in the base rounds the finish into something warm and sustained, the clean quality intact hours later.
