Named for the mountain range that crosses Afghanistan and Pakistan, Hindu Kush reads as geography: dry earth, cold altitude, smoke rising from somewhere below. Saffron and black pepper in the opening carry the spice of overland trade routes before the oud and incense heart thickens the composition into something genuinely smoky and resinous. Patchouli and labdanum give the mid-stage an earthy heaviness, and vetiver in the base adds a root-deep dryness to the amber foundation. This does not wear lightly.

Why We Carry This

Hindu Kush is the darkest composition in our Mancera opening and deliberately so. The oud-incense-labdanum heart is built for clients who find most niche fragrances timid in their use of heavy materials. Vetiver and patchouli together in the base give it an earthiness that most amber compositions avoid.
