This peach is jammy, almost cooked down in a pan, and it comes wrapped in ginger and cardamom rather than the usual soft musk. Jasmine sambac and tuberose sit right alongside it, so the fruit never turns candy sweet, it stays tangled up with something greener and more floral.

Vanilla, sandalwood and vetiver take over as it dries down, and that's where the spice from the opening finally softens into something warm instead of sharp. Named for the constellation, it does have that sense of something distant coming slowly into focus.
