Hundred Silent Ways X
Lorson's rose is always specific: not the generic floral rose of perfumery shorthand, but something with body and weight. Here it shares the heart with peony and oud, the peony lightening what the oud anchors, jasmine threading warmth through the arrangement. Saffron and pink pepper in the opening give the bergamot a warm, spiced context before the florals establish themselves. Patchouli in the base is the material that gives the amber and sandalwood foundation an earthy depth that extends the oud quality into the late drydown. The deep rose-burgundy bottle signals the composition's color accurately.
Why We Carry This
Hundred Silent Ways X is Lorson's most considered floral-oriental construction for Nishane, and the rose-oud combination in the heart is handled with a specificity that the format demands. The patchouli base is the move that gives it longevity beyond what the floral opening promises. A strong addition to the Nishane range that the house built on Ani's foundations.
