Althaïr Exclusif
Scent Profile
Top notes: Bergamot, Amaretto, Saffron
Heart notes: Cinnamon, Orange Blossom, Cardamom, Praline
Base notes: Bourbon Vanilla, Guaiac Wood, Ambrox
Why We Carry This
We carry it as the amaretto-forward answer to Althaïr, a flanker that actually reworks the composition instead of just turning up the volume.
Character
Accords: Vanilla, Gourmand, Sweet, Woody, Amber, Spicy
Perfumer: Hamid Merati-Kashani
Hamid Merati-Kashani built Exclusif as a denser reworking of Althaïr, swapping the original's lighter citrus-forward profile for amaretto and praline stacked directly against bourbon vanilla, so the almond-and-sugar opening reads more like dessert wine than cologne. Guaiac wood underneath keeps it from tipping fully into gourmand territory, giving it a faint smoky, leather-adjacent edge as the sweetness settles.
It drops to a skin scent within a few hours, closer to three than the all-day claim some vanilla fragrances make, so reapplication matters if you want it carrying into evening. This is a heavier, sweeter bottle than the original Althaïr, and anyone who liked that one for its restraint may find Exclusif too much dessert for daily wear.
