Valaya
Aldehydes and white peach open with a crispness that is more vintage in feel than the rest of the Parfums de Marly catalog, mandarin and bergamot sitting clean above them. Lily of the valley and orange blossom define the heart, vetiver threading an unexpected green note beneath the white florals. Ambroxan and akigalawood in the base give Quentin Bisch's composition its lasting warmth and distinctive close-skin character.
Why We Carry This
Valaya is Quentin Bisch doing something structurally considered: the vetiver-white floral combination is not an obvious choice, and it is exactly what separates this from the many akigalawood-and-musk white florals that currently crowd the market.
