The Harmonist's Earth element is associated in Chinese cosmology with stability, nourishment, and the center: the force that holds. Desired Earth Yang opens with ginger and pink pepper establishing a warm, dry spice that bergamot brightens. Vetiver and patchouli take the heart with an earthy authority, the two materials working as ground and shadow to each other. Sandalwood and cedarwood in the base are warm and slightly resinous, the composition settling into a deeply stable, unhurried finish.

Why We Carry This

Desired Earth Yang is the most grounded fragrance in The Harmonist's Yang line, the vetiver-patchouli heart giving it an earthy density that the lighter Yang releases do not attempt. The ginger opening provides just enough energy to prevent the composition from reading as merely heavy.
