Cardamom and neroli in the opening are warm and slightly herbal, bergamot giving the top a brightness. Oud takes the heart with sandalwood alongside it, the pairing golden and warm rather than dark or medicinal. Ambergris in the base is the material that gives this composition its distinguished quality, a marine-saline warmth that vanilla anchors into something lasting and refined.
