Vele is Tiziana Terenzi's answer to the aquatic-floral category, handled with enough Italian floral richness in the jasmine-lily heart to prevent it from reading as generic fresh. The sandalwood-amber base gives it a warmth and longevity that most aquatic compositions deliberately avoid.

Vele means sails in Italian, and the fragrance opens with the quality of wind-filled canvas over water: sea air and citrus with a brightness that bergamot anchors. Jasmine and lily of the valley in the heart are light and sun-warmed rather than heavy or nocturnal, the white floral accord open and airy. Musk and sandalwood in the base give the finish a warmth that grows as the aquatic quality fades, amber extending the drydown into something closer to skin than sea.
