Lua
Melon and bergamot open Lua with a soft, slightly candied freshness before the iris heart shifts the register toward the powdery and structured. The rose and lily of the valley in the heart are not loud but they provide real floral depth, pink pepper adding a spice note that prevents the composition from reading as purely delicate. Patchouli in the base gives the vanilla-musk drydown an earthen quality that keeps the sweetness in check, cedar providing the dry, woody frame that extends the composition's wear time. Elegant without being stiff.
Why We Carry This
Lua is the Xerjoff Shooting Stars entry with the most straightforward femininity, and the iris-rose heart justifies the placement in the range. The patchouli base is what separates it from lighter floral compositions: it gives the vanilla drydown actual depth rather than just sweetness.
