Alexandria III

Alexandria III opens with lavender and cinnamon over palisander rosewood, spicier than most oud fragrances start out. Bulgarian rose arrives fast in the heart, floral and slightly powdery against lily-of-the-valley. Two different oud sources, Laotian and Thai, take over the base, and an animalic edge runs through the whole thing that keeps it from feeling polished.

Why We Carry This
Chris Maurice used two ouds instead of one here, and it shows. There's a depth and rawness to the base that single-source oud fragrances rarely reach.
