Pierre Negrin reformulated Interlude Man at 53% concentration, aged for six months in Muscat, and the result is something that needs time before it gives you anything back. The opening is pimento, oregano, and bergamot: abrasive, herbal, bright in a way that stings slightly. After an hour the incense, opoponax, and labdanum settle in, and the smoke becomes less aggressive, more architectural. The oud and leather base is where most wearers find their footing, and where the patience becomes obviously worth it.

The original Interlude Man is already one of Amouage's defining statements. Interlude 53 is not a louder version, it's a slower one, aged into a different kind of authority. We carry it because it represents what extrait concentration can actually mean in skilled hands.
