Clementine and bitter orange open cold and slightly bitter, with green tea and ivy trailing right behind. Basil does exactly what its name promises in the heart, peppery against chamomile and peony. Marie Salamagne kept the base minimal, just sandalwood and amber, enough weight to hold the citrus without slowing it down.
