New York Gardenia
Full-volume from the moment the gardenia appears. Aldehydes and lemon give the opening a vintage shimmer before gardenia takes over entirely, tuberose and jasmine pressing in from both sides. There is real animalic undercurrent from the benzyl acetate base, and vanilla and sandalwood eventually soften it, but gardenia remains the clear subject throughout.
Why We Carry This
Bond No. 9 builds its identity around New York neighborhoods, and this is the bottle that earns its place in the collection. The gardenia-tuberose combination is indulgent in the way the house does best: high-impact, unapologetic, beautifully finished.
