Julie Pluchet distilled the Clive Christian philosophy down to its barest structure with this 2021 extrait, and the result is something that functions almost like a second skin rather than a conventional fragrance. The leather is neither sharp nor beastly; it's old and burnished, made warmer by the labdanum resins until it becomes genuinely animalic in a way that registers as intimacy. Sparse on paper, consuming in wear.
