Grapefruit and green apple make Exotic's opening tart almost to the point of sourness, passionfruit rounding it out just enough. Cognac shows up in the middle, unexpected and a little boozy, with cedar and coriander keeping it dry rather than warm.

Why We Carry This

The cognac note is doing something interesting here, giving a fruity-fresh opening a genuinely adult finish instead of the usual caramel comfort landing. Caramel and tonka do arrive eventually, but by then the fragrance has already made its case as something more layered than its tropical name implies.
