Side Effect

Rum and saffron together read as opulent rather than edgy, the saffron threading a warm metallic quality through the boozy opening. Tobacco and cinnamon take over in the heart, the cinnamon adding a dry spice that stops the composition from reading as straightforwardly gourmand. Sandalwood underneath is quiet but essential, giving the tobacco a clean surface to rest against.
