Another Oud
Romano Ricci named this one with his characteristic irreverence: Another Oud, because the market had plenty, and this one would be different. It is. The rose-oud combination at the composition's core is handled with a lightness that Middle Eastern oud traditions rarely permit, the oud present and resinous but never aggressive. Amber and vanilla soften the heart into something that wears closer to skin than a standard oud composition would, leather threading through the drydown with a quality that is more suggestion than material. The humor is in the name. The fragrance earns it.
Why We Carry This
Another Oud is the Juliette Has a Gun house at its best: a provocation that turns out to be genuinely good. The rose-oud construction is lighter than the name suggests, and the vanilla-amber softening gives the composition an accessibility that most oud fragrances sacrifice for gravitas. Romano Ricci refusing to take himself too seriously while making something worth taking seriously.
