Lavender and juniper berries in the opening of Faris are the classic fougere entry, but the lemon and bergamot give them more brightness than tradition requires. The heart is where Castelletti and Chieze take a direction: nutmeg, coriander, and clove alongside jasmine and rose, a spiced floral that gives the fougere structure a warmth it does not always carry. Vetiver and patchouli in the base are dry and earthy, tonka bean adding a sweetness that amber and sandalwood then extend into a finish that is both classical and warm.
