Lamar Noir

Lamar Noir starts somewhere unexpected, tropical fruit and green apple against violet and bergamot, before a dense leather and oud base takes over completely. Caramel and rose warm the middle, geranium adding a green edge. Moss and guaiac wood give the base a dirtier, animalic quality that the sweet top note doesn't prepare you for.

Patrick Müller took a genuinely strange top note, tropical fruit over leather and oud, and made it work instead of clash. That kind of risk is exactly what we look for from niche houses.
