Liquide opens with saffron and mandarin, the warm metal of the saffron against the bright citrus creating an immediate tension that solar notes amplify. The heart is built on orange blossom and jasmine alongside carrot seeds and coriander: the floral and the aromatic in a combination that Nisrine Bouazzaoui Grillié keeps from tipping into either pure floral or pure spice. Labdanum and ambroxan in the base give the composition a solar-resinous depth, patchouli threading through to ground the sweetness. The name is literal: this flows.
