Why We Carry This
Solo Elixir is Nuria Cruelles's most refined work in the Loewe catalog: a reinterpretation of the 2004 Solo built around tarragon and labdanum that transforms a clean aromatic into something resinous and lasting. The olibanum-benzoin base is the quality leap that justifies the Elixir designation. Released in 2025, it represents the current peak of the Loewe fragrance line.

Lavender and jasmine sambac in the opening of Solo Elixir share the space without either claiming it, mandarin giving both a brightness that quickly yields to orris and cinnamon in the heart. Nutmeg and tarragon alongside the orris give the mid-stage a dry, slightly anise-adjacent quality before olibanum and labdanum arrive in the base. Benzoin and patchouli close the composition with a resinous, warm drydown that Cruelles built around the Spanish rockrose accord that defines the house's aromatic identity.
