Cherry Ink
Cherry and ink should not work together, and Cherry Ink understands that tension. The cherry opening is sharp and slightly tart rather than sweet, and the ink accord that arrives alongside it in the heart adds a cold, papery quality that pushes the cherry note into unexpected territory. Iris and violet give the composition a powdery register, heliotrope adding a warm almond sweetness in the mid-stage. Benzoin and amber in the base soften the accord into something warmer and more intimate, the ink quality fading last.
Why We Carry This
Cherry Ink is the most distinctive compositional brief in the Lorenzo Pazzaglia collection we carry. The ink-plus-fruit construction is rare, and the iris-heliotrope heart gives it a powdery elegance that the opening's contrast does not suggest. This is the house at its most conceptually adventurous.
