Vesuviuur
Vesuviuur opens with frangipani and saffron over citrus, the combination already unusual before the rum and butter heart arrives and shifts everything. Chocolate, whipped cream, and dates in the mid-stage create a lush gourmand core that bread and almond deepen into something warmer than dessert. The name evokes Vesuvius, and the agarwood and patchouli base does carry a certain smoldering quality, a deep heat underneath the sweetness that keeps the composition from collapsing into pure confection. Caramel and benzoin close with dense warmth.
Why We Carry This
The saffron-frangipani opening against a rum-chocolate-bread heart is not a combination any cautious perfumer would attempt. Vesuviuur works because the agarwood base acts as the geological foundation the whole construction needs: dark, mineral, and lasting. Extrait concentration means the whole arc performs across an entire day.
