It's a genuinely odd pairing, bright Mediterranean citrus grafted onto a smoky oud base, and Jean-Claude Astier makes it work by letting the spice bridge the two halves. M. Micallef's ornate bottles get attention, but this is one where the juice inside actually matches the drama of the packaging.
