GnTonic opens with tonic water and lime that are distinctly drinkable: gin in the top note accord adds the juniper-botanical quality without tipping into synthetic territory, peppermint and ginger sharpening the whole opening into something genuinely refreshing. The floral heart is the surprise: lily of the valley and orange blossom giving the spirit accord a softness it needs before the green depth of cedar and cypriol settles in.
