Purple Love
Bergamot and almond open together, the citrus lifting the almond's nuttiness into something cooler and more wearable. Pink pepper adds a soft spice that threads through to the heart, where ylang-ylang and orange blossom meet chocolate and rose in an accord that sounds overwhelming but sits softly on the skin. David Chieze keeps the musk and vanilla in the base clean and restrained, letting the floral-citrus character dominate rather than pulling things into sweetness. A 2026 release, Purple Love is Micallef working in their characteristic sensual-floral register with a lighter touch.
Why We Carry This
M. Micallef has built a consistent reputation for accessible luxury, and Purple Love adds a fresh citrus-floral dimension to a house known for its warmer compositions. The chocolate-ylang accord at the heart is unexpected and handled well. We added it for clients who want something from this house that works for warmer weather and daytime wear.
