Jacques Cavallier Belletrud built Coffee Break around a specific sensory memory: the pause, not the coffee. The opening is warm and slightly spiced, pepper and orange blossom over patchouli, before the coffee-milk accord arrives in the heart alongside lavender and tonka bean in a combination that keeps the roasted note from dominating. Siam benzoin and cypriol give the mid-stage a resinous warmth. Vanilla and vetiver in the base are the drydown: the moment after the cup is empty and the warmth remains.
