Red Tobacco
Tobacco and cinnamon in the heart of Red Tobacco work differently together than either would alone. The cinnamon sharpens the tobacco rather than sweetening it, black pepper in the opening already having set the spice register high before the tobacco arrives. Rose and jasmine soften the arrangement without removing its edge. The base is the warmest part: amber and vanilla giving the patchouli depth and the musk a sweetness that makes the final drydown easier to wear than the heart alone would suggest. This is evening territory.
Why We Carry This
Red Tobacco sits in the small category of tobacco fragrances where the tobacco reads as a material rather than a concept. The cinnamon-tobacco combination in the heart is specific and well-handled, and the patchouli-amber base gives it the longevity that tobacco compositions require to deliver on their premise.
